- Carrier onboarding data: company name, contact name, email, phone, MC/DOT numbers, equipment types, and uploaded documents (W9, MC authority, insurance certificates).
- Anonymous traffic data: page path, referrer, country, and a hashed (non-reversible) IP. Only collected after you accept cookies.
2. How we use it
- To set you up as a carrier and dispatch loads on your behalf.
- To comply with broker, factoring, and regulatory requirements.
- To improve the website (aggregate analytics only).
3. Who we share it with
We share carrier information only with brokers, shippers, and factoring companies necessary to dispatch and get you paid. We do not sell personal data to anyone, ever.
4. How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Documents live in a private storage bucket and are accessible only through short-lived signed URLs to authenticated administrators. See our Trust & Security Center for details.
5. Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@jwtrustworthy.com. We respond within 30 days.
